Below is listed all the information on this year's event including Simply fill-out the registration form, choose your method of payment, and you will be automatically registered for the event. We will contact you to confirm your registration via email or phone.

General Information

  • Date:  Monday, July 21, 2008
  • Time:  Registration will begin at 9:00AM, with play beginning at 11:30AM
  • Rain Date:  not set
  • Place:  The Virginian Golf Club, Bristol, VA (Clubhouse phone - 276-645-6959)
  • Format:  Best Ball
  • Entry Fee:  $300/player, $1,200/team
  • Last date to register online:  Monday, July 14th
  • Includes: skills competitions, post-tournament reception, and an awards ceremony.
  • Buffet Lunch:  buffet lunch will be served from 10:30AM until 11:30 AM
  • Each player will receive a golfer gift bag to include:  a Cadillac Invitational Golf Shirt, a towel, a sleeve of Callaway golf balls, and assorted goodies from Cadillac, GMAC, and some participating local sponsors, and more.
SCORECARDS WILL NOT BE AN OPTION TO QUALIFY FOR NATIONAL PRIZES FOR THE 2008 CADILLAC INVITATIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT.

www.tpc.com/sawgrassThe winning team from the Handicap Division earns the opportunity to compete in the Cadillac Invitational National Final. The Cadillac Invitational National Finals will be held at the Tournament Players Club of Sawgrass, the home of the PGA Tour and the site of The Players Championship, in January 2009. It will be a 72-hole event held on the TPC Stadium Course, the TPC Valley Course and Sawgrass Country Club, a private country club that was the original site of The Players Championship. As always, the national sponsors will be providing each participant with a valuable gift pack and prizes for the top twenty teams, as well as all the proximity prizes, etc.

How to Form a Team (Rules)

  1. Any amateur golfer, male or female, is eligible to compete in the Cadillac Invitational.
  2. Every team competing for national prizes in the NATIONAL FLIGHT of the Cadillac Invitational must consist of four amateur golfers whose USGA Handicap Indexes total 43.0 or more. Only one golfer on each team may have a USGA Handicap Index of 8.0 or less.
  3. All Teams not meeting the National Flight requirements will compete in the LOW GROSS FLIGHT. of 8.0 or less.Click me to go to The Virginian Web site
  4. Golfers' handicaps are effective as of the day of registration for the tournament (i.e., the day the entry fee is paid).
  5. Each golfer who has a USGA Handicap Index will be required to present a current copy of his or her handicap card to the tournament committee at the time or registration.
  6. All golfers will be required to present a photo ID on the day of the tournament.
  7. The Cadillac Invitational and the National Kidney Foundation have the right to deny the entry of any players or teams.
