The National Kidney Foundation Serving East Tennessee's address is:
4450 Walker Boulevard, Suite #2
Knoxville, Tennessee 37917-1523
Below are 3 sets of directions from the main arteries (interstates) into Knoxville, followed by 3 maps, each revealing a different scale view of Knoxville. Refer to them as you read the directions. In addition, the symbol (***) is a referring symbol; don't worry about it unless it is referred to specifically in the text. We'll see you soon!
From I-40 eastbound & I-75 northbound:
Once inside the Knoxville city limits, you will pass the exits for Gallaher View, West Hills and Papermill, respectively. After passing the Papermill exit, go approximately 2 miles and you will come to the I-640 loop. There is only one exit and it will be on your right - take it. You will turn north and go underneath I-40/75. Stay on I-640 through 3 exits: Western Ave., Tillery Drive and the I-275 interchange (large). You will have traveled approximately 5 miles thus far. After passing the I-275 interchange (***), you will continue on I-640 eastbound for about another 2 miles and come to the Broadway exit. You will take this exit (to the right). Go straight to the first red light and turn right (South) onto Old Broadway. Follow Old Broadway approximately 300 yards where you will go under some railroad tracks and can either continue on Old Broadway (veer left to an immediate red light) or go straight/forward and end up on Broadway headed south into Knoxville. You will want to stay on Old Broadway (veer left) and go straight through the red light; the street turns into Mineral Springs on the other side of the light. Follow Mineral Springs about 300 yards, and on your right across Walker Boulevard will be a red brick building, in which will be the National Kidney Foundation Serving East Tennessee's office. It is the next to last office in the building. Happy Traveling!
From I-40 westbound:
Once inside the Knoxville city limits, you will pass an exit for John Sevier Parkway. Approximately 2 miles after this exit, you will encounter the I-640 interchange. Take the right lanes and go onto I-640 westbound. Once there, you will pass only one exit in the next 5 miles: Millertown Pike (the Knoxville Center Mall exit). After Millertown Pike you will still have about another 3 miles to go before you will see the Broadway exit. Take the Broadway exit, and turn left onto Broadway (headed south). Once on Broadway, you will immediately encounter 1 stop light. Go through that stop light to the next stop light (Mineral Springs Road on the left, Old Broadway on the right). Turn left onto Mineral Springs. You will go about 300 yards on Mineral Springs before coming to a stop sign, and immediately across from you to the right will be a red brick building, in which the Kidney Foundation will be the next to last office. Happy Cruising!
From I-75 southbound:
Once inside the Knoxville city limits, you will pass the exit for Merchants Drive. After passing Merchants Drive, you will go just under 1 mile and come to the I-640 interchange. Upon approaching the interchange, your turn will be second right turn, where the first will be a long veering exit. Past the first turn, you will be turning right into a 275° turn, ending up on I-640 eastbound. From this point, follow the directions for "I-40 eastbound & I-75 northbound" from this symbol (***). Happy Trails!
